Settling your baby or child into the nursery
We have a week's settling in period but we are very flexible and some parents may like to settle their child over a longer period. This settling in week is to ensure your child is fully relaxed and happy in their new environment, and happy and relaxed with their new carers. The settling in week is charged at a 50% rate e.g. if your child is attending 5 days a week you will be charged for 2.5 days.
Nursery Education Funding
All 3 to 4-year-olds in England receive 570 hours of free early education or childcare per year. We stretch the termly entitlement over 51 weeks of the year. Children of parents meeting certain criteria will be eligible for the extended entitlement which provides an additional 570 hours of free childcare per year. This will be stretched over the full year in the same way as the 15 hours. Please contact us for more information.
Childcare vouchers are exempt from national insurance and tax up to the value of £55 per week, so it is possible for you to save up to £1,195 per annum; or up to £2,390 if both parents belong to a scheme. The vouchers are provided through your employer and benefit them too because the NI exemption applies to both Employee's and Employer's NI payments. We are currently registered with most recognised voucher schemes, although we are happy to register with, and accept vouchers from new schemes also.
